Tara Janique is a vocalist, arts entrepreneur, arts philanthropist, and arts educator.
She’s performed on several platforms including before the president and Carnegie Hall with Alcorn State University Concert Choir, served a lead vocalist in a plethora of jazz band performances and was featured on Christian artists’ recording projects.
Her performance repertoire includes a versatile mix of jazz, Christian music and Gospel, classical, folk, r & b, and blues. Her influences are broad, from Tremaine Hawkins to Lizz Wright to Kathleen Battle.
She studied music on both undergraduate and graduate level. She’s passionate about music education and the relationship between arts and Christianity. She spends her time promoting upcoming artists in various artistic disciplines.
